ROGER BOURKE WHITE JR. ANNOUNCES EIGHT NEW BOOKS ARE PUBLISHED

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH — Roger Bourke White Jr. is releasing eight books with publisher Author House.

Four of these books are Roger's brand of science fiction, which he calls Technofiction.

According to White, "Technofiction is science fiction where good science and internal consistency are as important as good characterization."

The four titles being released are: The Honeycomb Comet, Rostov Rising, and Tips for Tailoring Spacetime Fabric Vols. 1 and 2.

The fifth book is a writers guide to help aspiring science fiction writers. It's called Science and Insight for Science Fiction Writers.

According to White, "These are the essays I wrote before I wrote my technofiction stories. They show writers how to build an interesting and internally consistent world, first, then populate it with interesting characters."

The sixth book is a business history, the history of Novell Inc. as it grew from a struggling startup to an industry leader with a billion dollars in sales. It's called Surfing the High Tech Wave -- A history of Novell 1980-1990.

According to White, "I wrote about this because I lived it. And it was the most exciting and fulfilling time of my life... until I started publishing these books, that is."

The seventh and eighth books are part of Roger's Business and Insight series. They are Evolution and Thought and Why We See Beauty.

According to White, "These are books about why we think the way we do. These are my latest books, and they are built on the insight I've gained in watching people for... what, six decades now. As I like to tell my friends, 'I've been there and done that. And while I was doing it, I took notes!'"

These eight books will be available from Author House and other booksellers starting in November.
