Portlandia This towering bronze is downtown, but on a narrow street that cramps her style, a bit. Portland has wonderful vistas, but they tend to be intimate ones compared to Salt Lake City vistas.

	Portland Parks Portland has some nice central city parks, they are tree-filled and pleasant.

	The Wilamette River, Center of Portland The Wilamette River (pronounced wiLAMet) is Portland's center. This is a picture after sunset from one of the riverside parks.
	This was a summer celebration night, I forget which, and a carnival was installed on the far bank.
