Life's first big challenge: the air that we breathe
Earth's beginning atmosphere was nothing like what we have today. It was composed of nitrogen and carbon dioxide, not nitrogen and oxygen like we have today. The weather was also very different. Yet, somehow, life got started in this very different condition. It got started, and thrived enough that it climate changed that primitive condition into what we have today. And... it thrived as it was doing that big changing. Wow! When we call life a miracle we really mean it!
