History reports that the HX Chaser did leave on schedule, and once it did, the 2nd Siege of Titan wound down. Once the decision had been made to try and exploit this live HX, there was too much to be done for mankind to keep arguing for long.
History also reports that Sherry and I did get married, and by the time The Chaser got to the HX, we had started our family. But that is another story...
