Roger: I disagree.

We didn't have to do anything special to prevent another 9-11.

That's not to say there wouldn't be other terrorist attacks if we did nothing more. It's to say that nothing as spectacular as 9-11 would happen again.

they would disagree, even 9-11 wasn't the full plan, and there was a second plan to include LA and the miracle mile (Sear's Tower) in chicago.

I cover this in great detail on in my American Panic essay on the web site, but the highlights are as follows:

o No one is going to be able to assemble another 20 terrorists into a well-organized, suicidal and well trained group. That was a monumental coup by itself.

see rebuttle above

o No group of passengers will let itself be cowed by hijackers again. Those terrorists broke one of the fundamental rules: that crew, passengers and terrorists all want the plane to land safely. Terrorists have now broken that rule; passengers can no longer trust them, so they won't cede control.

they will move on, as Clark narcissist or not admitted, nothing in what we knew would have prevented 9-11 because as you say it broke the rules -- there are more plans yet to be hatched if we aren't very alert -- and a little lucky

They won't, that is, until the airlines sufficently brainwash them with "pap" that only trained airline people can deal with terrorists. (which they are constantly trying to do.)

If we did nothing special, such as Homeland Defense and ATS, terrorists could blow up planes, but not hijack them. Now that we have Homeland Defense and ATS, terrorists can only blow up planes, not hijack them.... and I feel so much safer!! (Sorry, this is not only a hot button for me, it's a red, pussy, itchy one.)

no sh-- , i won't tell robin when we fly, but i always look for the glow of a rpg headed at our engines when we first take off.

Check out my latest essay on Worshipping at the Altar of the Holy Metal Detector. I'd still like to launch a lawsuit that says ATS violates the separation of Church and State.

i will, i like that idea, lol. also i think your web site is better than the one west made for me, how hard is it to go from scratch so i don'thave to deal with the b--ts any more? including maybe a link to the new site.?
